SPLINTER MANAGEMENT

A – RECEPTION OF FINE SPLINTERS:

Manually with mobile suction point and floor vacuum unit
Sourrounding of tool machines:
 • Suction of coolants/lubricants and splinters
 • Reduction of danger of accidents and slipperyness
 • Cleen keeping of work space

Manually with mobile suction point and hand-held vacuum unit
Cleaning of the splinter region within the tool machines:
 • Safe keeping of guidings
 • No dragging of splinters and coolants/lubricants into other areas (blow away not necessary)

By arrival via transport facilities
Central and automatic acceptance of splinters and coolants/lubricants:
 • no manual splinter transport by fork lifts etc.
 • no steaming or dragging of coolants/lubricants and splinters into the sourrounding areas (hazardous to health)

By direct suction at the place of emmittance
Direct acceptance of splinters during the production process:
 • Reduction of fall-outs
 • Warranty of quality for a stable surface condition
 • No pullution of production machines

B – RECEPTION OF SPLINTER WOOL:

Acceptance by collection container
The material of the collection containers consisting of various kinds of splinters tapping and punching waste is brought into the funnel of the central shredding unit.

Acceptance by transport facilities
Trasportation units of the production machines or other transporters take the splinters, splinter wool, punching wasts or other metal filings to the shredding unit.

In the shredder for the processing of fine splinters
The shredder can be fitted for every production machine or trasportation system and prepares the splinters for the vacuum process by reducing the volume drastically. This reduces disposal costs.

A / B
Option: Pre-separator   Option: Centrifuge
The humidity of wet splinters is reduced to smaller than 3% by a centrifuge

• More value for
   splinter recycling
• Reduced transport
   costs.
• No dragging of
   coolants/lubricants

Floor discharge in single
container

Turning discharge in
double container

From the splinter silo to truck or rail waggons

Evacuating :

During the vacuum process advantageous properties of the air stream can be utilized:
Separation of air and
splinters

filtering and cleaning of
suction air

Separation of splinters and
coolants/lubricants

 • Your advantage: Lower costs for the disposal of splinters
 • Your gain: automatic splinter transport without personnel, 24 hours daily
 • Your prospect: clean production, clean work shops, clean environment
 • Your safety: future environmental obligations are already achieved TODAY!
